University of DenverThe University of Denver (DU) was founded in 1864, making it the oldest private university in its region. DU is a four-year co-educational university with a total enrollment of 11,000 students, 5,000 of which make up the undergraduate body. Tour the university's 125-acre campus and see the second highest telescope in the world, and walk through the doors of historic University Hall, an architectural marvel built in the Romanesque Revival style. Set on pristine green space just seven miles south of downtown Denver, the campus has undergone over $500 million in renovations and construction over the past ten years, which includes a new education building, revamped library, a new law building, and the renowned Coors Fitness Center.
