Denver, Colorado Zoo

Established in 1896, the Denver Zoo is a popular visitor attraction offering an up-close look at some of the world's most popular animals, plants and birds all displayed in naturalistic habitats. The Denver Zoo is home to over 3,500 different animals, including many exotic and threatened animals like snow leopards, king cobras, Komodo dragons, grizzlies, gorillas, rhinos, vampire bats, and more.

Denver Zoo Keeper Experience

Animals lovers ages 9 and up can experience the Denver in a whole new way with the Zookeeper Experience. Help feed and care for the animals, work with animal trainers, clean animal exhibits, and learn how to become a real zookeeper. The Denver Zoo Keeper Experience costs $225 per person, and space is limited. call 720-337-1491 to register.

VIP Tours at the Denver Zoo

Get a special behind the scenes look at the Denver Zoo with an exclusive, guided VIP Tour guide that explores everything from the popular Predator Ridge and Tropical Discovery to the Wildlife Theater, where tour participants age 3 and up can meet the animals and help with a feeding or training demonstration. Tours cost $225 for groups of four, plus $45 for each additional member up to 8 guests total. Call 720-337-1491 to register.
