It's no secret that we Denverites love our beer. Long before the craft brewing craze of today, we've been proudly brewing, bottling, drinking, and selling our own beer. So if you're a beer lover who's going to be visiting us here at the Cherry Creek Holiday Inn and want to taste some of the best beers that Mile High has to offer, look no further! Here are some of our favorite spots.
Perhaps one of the most iconic breweries around is Breckenridge Brewery, founded by a Colorado ski bum named Richard Squire back in 1980. They now ship to over 35 states and remain one of the most prominent homegrown breweries. Try out their signature Nitro Breck IPA - a fully hoppy experience that'll make you want to climb mountains! Visit their taproom on 471 Kalamath St.
Another massively popular brewery is Great Divide Brewing Co. - and for good reason! Their wide and eclectic selection of delicious brews makes them a force to compete with. Their winter seasonal beer is the Orabelle Belgian Ale, clocking in at a whopping 8.3% and packed with flavor. Be sure to try it before it goes into hibernation at the end of March! Visit them at 2201 Arapahoe St.
For something uniquely Denver, head over to Trve (pronounced "true"), a heavy metal inspired brewery offering great beers and laid back vibes. Their mantra is to hang out at a "rad place and drink killer beer". They definitely do the job right. Try out their dangerously delicious "Unholy Upheavel Dubbel " IPA over on 227 Broadway.
Enjoy the hoppy and delicious tastes of Denver!
