Looking for something tasty to bite into this weekend? Everyone must have been hungry this week, because there's a whole lot of delicious food and culinary festivals all over the Denver area this Friday and Saturday. From a classic corn roast to a global festival of international food, there's plenty to choose from. If you love food and trying new things as much as we do here at the Holiday Inn at Cherry Creek, you won't want to pass up on these scrumptious activities.
First off is a local favorite event - the Annual Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival in Loveland. Participate in a corn shucking competition, see a parade, and play some fun games. For the first time this year, appropriately enough, there will be a cornhole tournament! Oh, and did we mention there's plenty of corn to eat? Face off in a corn eating contest if you're still feeling competitive, but there's plenty of roasted and boiled corn to go ‘round for everyone! For more information, head here.
If you want to keep the farm theme going, there's also the Lafayette Peach Festival! Celebrate the festival's 17th year by treating yourself to delicious peach pies, peach cobbler, smoothies, and more! You won't know what to do with all these peaches.
Next up, we're going international at the annual Aurora Global Fest! Enjoy an amazing variety of food and live entertainment from all over the world at this wonderful celebration of diversity in the Denver area.
Full yet? We thought so! After a long, delicious, and filling weekend, head on back to the Holiday Inn and take a snooze!
